Most brands claimed to harvest their algae from the Irish coast, but the deeper we researched, the clearer it became that many were simply reselling imported Sea Moss from China or farmed in tanks. That wasn’t the kind of wellness we wanted to stand behind.

So we made a decision, we flew to Ireland ourselves.

What followed was a true adventure. We drove along the rugged Irish coastline, knocked on doors of small local fishermen and seaweed farmers, and spoke to everyone willing to share their knowledge. Eventually, we found him, the farmer who now hand-harvests wild Irish Sea Moss exclusively for us.

He welcomed us into his world, showed us how the algae are sustainably collected from the ocean, naturally sun-dried, cleaned, and prepared before being shipped to us in Slovenia. Seeing the entire process with our own eyes changed everything. We knew we had found the purity and authenticity we had been searching for.

When we returned home, we built our own small production, where we made Sea Moss gel by hand using only the algae harvested for us in Ireland. We prepare every batch ourselves because that’s the only way to ensure the quality we stand for.
